The day of Mai Sakurajima`s high school graduation finally arrives. While her boyfriend, Sakuta Azusagawa, eagerly waits for her on the beach, an elementary schooler who looks exactly like Mai did when she was a child actress appears before him. While he wonders what this could mean, his father suddenly calls him and his sister Kaede to tell them that their mother is asking for them.
